Quick Honey Frosting [WF/GF/DF]
Ingredients
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons pastuerized egg whites*
1/8 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
*Do not use raw egg whites for this uncooked recipe as there's always a risk of salmonella & listeria contamination with uncooked eggs."Eggology" brand is tested for these bacteria.
Instructions
Warm honey over low heat or place jar of honey in pan of water that has just boiled.
Beat egg white with salt on low speed until foamy. Increase speed and continue to beat until peaks form. Slowly add honey, beating constantly. Add almond extract and beat until frosting is thick and fluffy.
