Nutty Butter Bars [WF/GF/DF/V]

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups almond butter
1 1/2 cups brown rice syrup
1 teaspoon almond flavoring
1/2 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
1/2 cup chopped almonds
6 cups brown rice cereal

Frosting:
1 1/2 cups dairy free unsweetened carob chips
1/2 cup almond butter
1/4 teaspoon almond flavoring

Instructions

Mix almond butter and brown rice syrup together over medium heat in 4-quart saucepan. Add the almond flavoring, coconut, almonds, and brown rice cereal when almond butter and rice syrup are completely blended. Pat mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan.

Frosting: Over medium heat, melt carob chips in small saucepan. Blend melted chips with almond butter, stirring until well-mixed. Add almond flavoring. Frost bars. Refrigerate before serving.
