Balsamic Garlic Rosemary Marinade
By Sean Doyle.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon of chopped garlic
1 tablespoon of chopped fresh rosemary
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
There's nothing like the comfort of summer foods. Cooling foods are best to eat during the hot summer days. Try this marinade with chicken or tofu.
Mix garlic, rosemary, brown sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper together. Makes enough marinade for two chicken breasts, lamb chops or beef steaks. Cover poultry or meat with marinade in a bowl from 25 minutes to 2 hours in the refrigerator. Recommend serving with balsamic vinegar as an after-cooking sauce.
Preheat broiler for five minutes. Place poultry or meat in a pan, spooning one tablespoon marinade over each piece. Broil until poultry or meat is cooked through and tender, about 15-20 minutes.
